DiaMedica Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for diabetes and neurodegenerative diseases. To strengthen its pipeline, DiaMedica acquired Sanomune Inc., a private biopharmaceutical company focused on Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases with complimentary technology. Both DiaMedica and Sanomune were recognized as one of Canada’s Top 10™ Life Science Companies in 2008/2009.
